Connect an AI app to gSquare
Ask Claude or ChatGPT about your loans and rentals, get reports, and have them prepare new records for your approval. Nothing an AI submits takes effect until you approve it in gSquare.
Connecting is open to accounts in the AI apps beta. If you would like to join, write to support@gsquarelabs.com.
Connector address (copy it exactly, no trailing slash):
https://gsquarelabs.com/api/mcp/customerWhat you can ask
- Your portfolio: every loan and rental you own, and the ones you owe, with balances and next due dates.
- Payment history, late fees, what is due now, amortization schedules and payoff quotes.
- Statements, schedule PDFs, tax-form drafts (ID numbers masked to the last four digits) and pricing reports as 15-minute download links.
- Metrics: on-time rates, collection rate, a 90-day cash forecast, tax-year income, rent versus market.
- New loans, new rentals and payments you received outside gSquare, submitted as requests for your approval (owners only).
- A standard payment reminder to a borrower or renter, at most one per record every 7 days.
What it never does
- It never moves money and never asks for bank or card details. Payments happen only in the gSquare portal.
- It never changes a live loan or rental. Fixes happen in the portal.
- It never approves anything. Every request waits for you, signed in to gSquare.
- It never writes free text that gSquare sends to someone else. Reminders use a fixed template.
- It never sees full Social Security or employer ID numbers, bank details or complete tax forms.
Claude (claude.ai, desktop and mobile)
Custom connectors work on every Claude plan; the Free plan allows one custom connector. Connectors added on claude.ai also appear in the desktop and mobile apps.
- On claude.ai open Settings, then Connectors.
- Choose Add custom connector. Name it gSquare and paste the connector address above.
- Click Add, then Connect. You are taken to the gSquare sign-in page.
- Sign in with your gSquare account and review the permission screen (see below).
- Back in Claude, start a chat and ask: "Who am I on gSquare?"
ChatGPT
Custom connectors are added through developer mode, available on Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Edu plans.
- In ChatGPT open Settings, then Connectors, then Advanced, and turn on Developer mode.
- Choose Create. Name it gSquare, paste the connector address above and leave authentication on OAuth (no key).
- Click Create, then Connect. You are taken to the gSquare sign-in page.
- Sign in with your gSquare account and review the permission screen (see below).
- In a chat, enable the gSquare connector and ask: "Who am I on gSquare?"
Grok Bot
Grok Bot support is being prepared and is not available yet.
The permission screen
- The screen names the app (Claude, ChatGPT or Grok Bot) and asks you to connect it to your gSquare account.
- The box "Also let this app submit requests for my approval" is off. Leave it off for read-only access; tick it if you want the app to prepare loans, rentals and payment records for you to approve.
- Borrowers and renters get read-only access; the box is not offered.
Approving what the AI submits
Every request lands in AI requests in your portal (Settings, AI apps) and in an email with Approve, Reject and "I didn't ask for this". Approve requires signing in; Reject works in one tap; "I didn't ask for this" rejects the request and disconnects only that app. Unanswered requests expire after 7 days.
Disconnecting
Settings, AI apps lists every connected app with when it was connected, when it was last used and what it can do, plus an activity log grouped by day. Disconnect removes its access at once and sends you a confirmation email. Changing your password also disconnects every app.
Your data
Your records reach the AI provider only when you ask the app a question. gSquare never shares full ID numbers, bank details or complete tax forms with an AI app. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
