About gSquare Labs
A Puerto Rico-based lab building precise, single-purpose tools for everyday situations. Two products, both bilingual: Rent. for independent landlords and Lend. for private lenders.
How it started
Our founder's family sold a property with seller financing. With the deed came the real work: knowing which payment came in, when, how much of it was principal and how much was interest, and what balance was left. There was no simple tool for one person holding one note. That became Lend.
The same friction showed up on the rental side. Rent arriving through ATH Móvil, Zelle and Venmo, with screenshots and notes standing in for a system that recorded and reconciled it. That became Rent.
Year-end forms follow from clean payment records. The records come first, and that is what both products are built around.

Mario is a strategy and business consultant and the founder of gSquare Labs. He built Lend. because his own family sold a property with seller financing and there was no simple way to keep track of the payments: what came in, when, how much went to principal and interest, and what balance remained. Rent. came from the same friction on the rental side: payments arriving through ATH Móvil, Zelle and Venmo with no system recording them.
He knows these situations because he has lived them as a user of the software, not because he is a licensed professional. He is not a CPA, attorney, or real estate broker.
Education: BS in Electrical Engineering, University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez. MBA, McCombs School of Business, The University of Texas at Austin.
